Review

One of the great things about RE (and all Playrix games) are the colorful, fun graphics, and in the RE games an attention to detail that makes the games so much more fun to play, and sets them apart from other time management games. The stuff that goes on in the background (love the bird house with the feathers coming out) and the interaction, like the Pirate jumping when you click on him (personal favorite here is the Aw! From the Leprechaun) just makes the game fun all the way through.

Yes this is basically the same game play, but with some really great enhancements. Swiping to get resources will save many clicks, and makes the game much more enjoyable. This is a wonderful new version with loads of new game play elements: Portals, Elephants, Druid/Pirate that must be continuously paid, flutes, coal, etc.

I like the simplification of the pricing and number of houses, no. of doves, etc. It allows another focus on the strategy, and it will make figuring out the right strategy easier.

This is in one respect my favorite RE game: it is very strategic. So where the predecessors, but in this game there are more “free style” levels where it is up to you what to build to meet the goal. I also love the “maze” levels (like level 57).

Like the predecessors it is very varied and you never get bored. I found the cut scenes in the beginning a bit too long, but they tie nicely into the game play.

The build-in strategy guide makes this game great for both beginners and hard-core TMers..
