Review

If you've ever played any of the Farm Frenzy titles, you know exactly what the gameplay is like in all the rest. It's an excellent formula, though, and certainly not enough of a reason, in my opinion, for a low rating. This is a time/resource management game that has the potential to appeal to gamers who don't traditionally play time management games. It is not a dash-style game, and despite having "frenzy" in the title, it allows the player to set his or her own pace. The levels have a timer, but the timer is there as a guideline. The first time limit is just for earning a gold trophy (bonus points). The second is for a silver trophy (less bonus points), but you can continue playing a level as long as it takes. You are also given the ability to replay levels immediately in your progression. This is a very well-designed and addictive formula. The lack of variation in any of the sounds or effects make this game average, but the great design and flexibility in audience gives it a slight extra edge. It should be noted that I do not own this game, but have played full trials for all of the version 3 games as well as the first.......
