Atlantis is a classical TM/strategy game: it has the game play of Roads of Rome with a touch of My Kingdom for the Princess (MKFTP), executed in a solid way. That alone will make it a must for any lover of Builders/Strategy game. 

While the game has RoR game play with the Barracks and Hunting Lodge from MKFTP, it is no copycat. It offers a wide variety of new elements, which also keeps the game interesting from beginning to end. The Clockwork Men will help you with work; the Wheel of Fortune adds unpredictability, the Power ups (which you earn through the HO mini games) are random, etc. One of the great things is that you can chain actions, so no going back to Camp between every action.

Another thing is that you can’t actually see the road you are building. So you really have to be careful with what you do! 

The game is not easy, but it has a relaxed mode for games who want to take their time and enjoy the beautiful graphics. But be careful, you still need to plan carefully, because you can deadlock yourself.

The graphics are beautiful and detailed. The game is smooth, the game play flawless, and the goals challenging. This is TM/Strategy at its best.There are 50 level, 10 HO scenes/minigames, and 3 bonus levels.

I have no idea why the GZ review compares this game to Monument Builders, which is a good and solid TM/Strategy game, but hardly a game being a yard stock in this category, and with a quite different gameplay. This game is not MB, very far from it. It is much better, more varied, and an overall much better experience. 

The biggest problem will probably be its size and its requirements to your PC. This is not a game for older PCs. 

Try it out! If you are a fan of Builders or TM-Strategy this is a must!.
